I'm originally from the Interlake but I also consider myself a western manitobian. I love the farmland, the lakes and the U-ball at the end of main street in Carberry is awesome. I've been ice fishing on Lake Dauphin, played the notorious August long week-end golf tournament in Sandy Lake, taken a horse drawn sleigh ride through Rapid City, driven stock car in Souris, and suntanned on the shores of Lake Minnedosa.

I love the fact that you can get to where you need to go in Brandon in 15 mins. I've gotten lost after the son of a beach social, been catfishing on the Assiniboine and I believe the walking path around the city is a treasure. I miss Barnicles, Yaks and Aunt Sarah's.

If I had to pick up and move today, it would be to Neepawa. I love it there in the summer.

The CFL, rec volleyball, and the smell of freshly cut alfalfa are my weakness in life. I make kick ass perishy and love a good moose bannock burger.

Growing up, all I ever heard from my mom was to act more like a young lady. Maybe one day I'll get the hang of it.
