Peter Fredette has worked with a number of artists, serving as bassist, guitarist, drummer, keyboardist, and even background vocalist. He is probably best known for his many years of recording and performing with popular hard rock singer and guitarist Kim Mitchell. Fredette has also worked with Ian Thomas, Colin James, Larkspur, Coney Hatch, Alannah Myles, Pat Travers, and many others.

Fredette began his musical career around 1980, first working with a group called Butler where he polished his skills and got comfortable in front of crowds. He started out as a guitarist and keyboardist, then later moved on to bass. By 1982 he began performing with Kim Mitchell. Over the next several years he appeared on all of Mitchell's albums, including Aural Fixations, I Am a Wild Party, Shakin' Like a Human Being, and Riders on Dark Horses. ~ Charlotte Dillon, All Music GuideRead More
