X-Fest Rock Challenge

KX96 wants to know if you think your band has what it takes to be an X-Fest prospect?  Are you ready to play on the big stage in front of thousands of people?

Then show us what you've got in the KX96 Rock Challenge!

Every Friday night starting April 25 through June 6 bands will compete at Clancey's and the top six bands from these competitions will move on to the Semi-Finals which will be held June 13.  Of these six bands, the top three will be selected to compete on June 20 in the finals.

Each weekly performance will be judged by the same judges and with the same criteria (stage presence, musical ability, festival suitability, overall sound, and crowd approval). 

Weekly battles will consist of 3 bands with one set each, all weekly performances will also be filmed by local TV.

The winning band gets $1000 cash, a set at X-Fest 2, and a video of the X-Fest performance.

Bands must provide the following info:

1. Band Name
2. Band Members names/instruments
3. Years active
4. Genre of rock
5. Band origin (where you're from)
6. My space page/Website
7. Date and contact info
8. Audio sample (cd, mp3)
9. Band logo
