The 7th annual Rock the Block festival is set for a Friday night in downtown Brandon!

The Rock & Rap music worlds will collide when Toronto-based rap-rock group Down With Webster share the bill with fellow Torontonian rock band My Darkest Days and with Canadian legends April Wine.

BUSU Reps Suze (VPE) and Carissa (Pres.) visited the KX96 studios this morning to make the announcement.

The event, which shuts down Rosser Avenue between 7th & 9th street for a fun social evening! The evening features awesome live music entertainment and makes for a great kick off to the fall semester, is put on by the Brandon Universty Students' Union. The event is open to students as well as non B.U. students.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the gate, but students get $5 off those prices. For tickets call the BUSU office at 727-9660.
