In Virden, Canada Day Celebrations start at ten with free swinning for kids and teens.  At one, registration at the Virden Curling Rink begins for the antique vehicle parade which starts at two.  At three in Victoria Park in Virden the Children's Carnival begins and local entertainment starts on the open air stage.  The show and shine at three is on 7th avenue by Victoria Park.  At six is the official opening and FREE Canada Day Cake.  At seven is our headliner...Brad Johner and Band...at the open air stage in Victoria Park.  There is no charge for any of htis.  Come and enjoy a great Canada Day in Virden.  The skies above Virden explode in a multitude of colours and terrific noise at ten thirty.
